NORTHLAND HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY
Northland Hockey Development Academy is a hockey services company run by professional educators (current professional players) offering camps, clinics, personalized private lessons, and video analysis to kids in Northern, Minnesota and Wisconsin (Cloquet, Duluth, Hermantown, Proctor, Grand Rapids, and Superior).

ON ICE ACVTIVITIES:
Foundational Cone Instruction, Hockey IQ Teaching, Intrinsic and Extrinsic Individual Development, Ride the Glide, Edge Work, Mini Games/Scrimmage, Foundational Skill Work, and More.
OFF ICE ACTIVITIES:
Plyometric, Activation, Shooting, Techniques/Stickhandling, Watching Film, Comprehension of Systematic Structured Game Play, New Concepts of Dynamic Warmups, Soft tissue Work, Recovery/Nutrition talks, Mental Health Awareness/Training, and Teambuilding Games. Images Below as an Example.

A Camp Staff Goal is to focus on each player as a person.
To us, it is ALWAYS PERSON over the player.
Players need to be able to think. Too much structured and detailed mechanics in practices and games causes players outputs to not matter as much because they are institutionalized for years on skill development, fancy highlight reel goals, and structured play.
For this camp only, the kids will be split up in an upper and lower-level team and play in 1 Tournament (Northern Exposure Duluth, MN July 21,22, 23 2023, Weekend) "A player may opt out" Tournament fee and jersey included in price.
A Camp Staff Goal is to focus on each player as a person.
To us, it is ALWAYS PERSON over the player.

Former: CEC Boys, Colorado College, North Dakota, Winnipeg Jets, Calgary Flames, Banska Bystrica, Vegas Golden Knights Organizations and currently a player with the Odense, Bulldogs in Denmark.
AARON MILLER
Instructor
Former Superior Spartan, Minnesota Wilderness, Bemidji State Beaver, Mestis, Finland, and currently in France Liga
DYLAN JOHNSON
Instructor
Former: CEC Boys, Minnesota Wilderness, University of Wisconsin Superior Yellow-Jacket, and currently a professional hockey player with the Birmingham Bulls
DEREK DASCHKE
Instructor
Former: USHL Player (6 Years of Experience), Miami of Ohio Captain, and currently with the UMD Bulldogs as their top Defenseman.
PAUL BITTNER
Instructor
Former Crookston, Portland Winter hawks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Sweden, Norway and currently playing in the DEL hockey league
TAYLOR NELSON
Instructor
Former CEC girls player, and currently playing at Bemidji State University.
ELLA ANICK
Instructor
Former Proctor/Hermantown Player and currently playing Division 1 at Bemidji State University.
PATRICK MUNSON
Goalie Coach
Patrick played division 1 at Vermont and Michigan Tech. He also played professionally in North America, France, and the United Kingdom. He is currently one of the Minnesota Wilderness Assistant Coaches.
